Prelude

This choir (CHORUS-REG-SPEC-1 1303360W) is for Soprano/Alto voices (9th through 12th) who have not taken chorus at the high school level.

*Students may audition to be placed in the 2nd level of this class (same physical class as the Level 1’s, but a higher choir on the transcript and will be considered “section leaders”) by contacting Mrs. Peck at peckt2@leonschools.net

Overture

This choir (CHORUS-REG-SPEC-1 1303360M) is for Tenor/Bass voices (9th through 12th) who have not taken chorus at the high school level.

Opus (est. 1979)

10th-12th grade soprano/alto voices who have had high school choir for at least one year.

Capital Singers (est 1973)

Leon’s premiere choir. Capital Singers contains Junior and Senior soprano/alto voices and Sophomore through Senior tenor/bass voices.

This choir requires a written, vocal, and sight-reading audition.

Capital Singers is an HONORS level course.

Madrigal Singers (est 1966) and Melodears (est 1932)

Chamber Choirs– Junior and Seniors only who are also members of Capital Singers.

They perform frequently throughout the community.

These are HONORS level courses.
